Perfectly Wild Motherhood | An Intimate Motherhood Session

Finally getting around to sharing my favorite recent sessions, and I can’t believe I haven’t shared this one yet!

This session had my heart absolutely gushing. This sweet (and patient) mama was so gentle and kind with her sweet babies, who were absolutely over the moon excited I was there with them. We wanted to capture the intimate and loving nature of motherhood, with moments of snuggles, breastfeeding, and moments of pure genuine love.

I didn’t need to encourage or “coach” during this session; the moments unraveled naturally and effortlessly for this mama and her boys. The sweet kisses on foreheads, the laughter, the bear hugs, all caught candidly (and with me swooning behind my camera).

I have to say, I don’t tire from watching and witnessing a mother’s love (and her children loving her). I will always feel attracted to the images that evoke emotion from me, where I can FEEL what’s happening within the photo. A tight hug, a gentle kiss, a deep belly laugh. It’s sessions like this where I feel like I am truly at ease, creating my art and documenting moments that mean everything to the ones I’m creating for.

Motherly love, parental love; it is truly beautiful and magical in all the ways <3
