A Family Session at Home | CT Family Photographer

I’m slowly catching up on past sessions and blogging, and it makes my heart so happy to revisit this session with my sweet, beloved clients.

Reminiscing about 2021, I realized that I’ve had the most return clients as I ever had before, in this 6 years in business. I am beyond grateful for that.

Now, this sweet family is one whom I photographed for the first time when their sweet boy was less than a year old. Last time, we met at a local wildflower meadow and played and giggled. This time, mama decided to keep the family at home and document their family’s moments within their sacred space.

I often find that kids are so much more comfortable within their own home (and I worked at a studio for 10+ years), and they warm up much quicker when there.

These sweet kiddos warmed up in no time, ushering me into their home and showing off all of their favorite toys. We started our session with the kids tumbling, laughing, and playing on mom & dad’s bed. The energy was fun, the laughter was contagious, and the moments were the absolutely sweetest.

We moved our session outside to the backyard, and captured some sweet and silly moments in the warmth and glow of the evening sun. Genuine smiles, pure love, and the silliest laughter was all we needed for a beautiful session.
