"I've never thought to take breastfeeding portraits before"

I hear this all the time when I meet new mamas interested in portraits.  Never has it crossed their mind to capture the moments while they breastfeed.

Yet, each and every mama tells me her story, about how either she never expected to breastfeed as long as she has, or the struggles she never knew she would have to endure in the beginning.  Some tell me how they never thought they would absolutely love and cherish the act of breastfeeding as much as they do. Each and every mama agrees, these are moments WORTH capturing and preserving.

And breastfeeding mamas, you deserve to be able to hold and treasure these moments.  In the grand scheme of things this is a small blip in our motherhood journey.  When our kids are grown, these are the moments we want to hold onto to, to look at and remember.
