Mama Amie | CT Motherhood Photographer

If I'm being honest, breastfeeding portraits are my favorite.  These moments are the most genuine, honest, real, raw moments.  Babies usually forget I'm there (well, usually), and I feel like I've truly become a fly on the wall, watching a beautiful set of moments unfold before my camera.

And these moments, we as mamas LIVE for these moments that happen while nursing.  When our baby reaches up and plays with our hair, or gazes up at us with those wise, loving, innocent eyes.  Or when they perform nurserobics (mamas of older babies know what I'm talking about!).

We endure pain from teething, biting, clogged ducts, mastitis, sore nipples, etc all so we can provide our babies nourishment, and to share these special moments with them.
